Primal Kitchen Founder: Mark Sisson
Wellness expert and New York Times bestselling author, Mark Sisson, founded Primal Kitchen in 2015. After retiring from his career as a competitive endurance athlete (5th place at the 1980 U.S. Marathon Championships, and 4th place at the 1982 Hawaii Ironman World Triathlon Championships), Mark took up ancestral eating to combat the draining effects of the commanding training regimen and his previously highly inflammatory diet.
