Each pellicle is approximately 4 inches in diameter and 1/8 – 1/4′ inch thick. The size, texture, and color of each pellicle will vary. The pellicle size may not match the size of your jar-do not fear! A new pellicle will form to fill the surface of its new home regardless of the size of the original pellicle.
